Automatic rotation is enabled: org.gnome.settings-daemon.peripherals.touchscreen orientation-lock = false Mutter reports: PanelOrientationManaged = true HasExternalMonitor = false Display transform remains normal (0). iio-sensor-proxy 3.8 reports HasAccelerometer=true and emits normal, right-up, and left-up orientation changes through monitor-sensor. Restarting the GNOME session did not restore automatic display rotation. Versions: mutter 50.1-0ubuntu2.2 gnome-shell 50.1-0ubuntu1.2 linux-image-7.0.0-31-generic 7.0.0-31.31 The regression was noticed after moving from 7.0.0-30 to 7.0.0-31. The relevant HID sensor-hub module changed; ISH transport and HID 3D accelerometer modules did not.
