After selecting any target in the "Choose an Ubuntu version to install" menu, the screen freezes on the boot text and the machine hangs forever. The resolute mini-iso and pre-20260917 stonking dailies work. The error seems to happen in the kernel. In order to get the kernel log, the mini-iso was rebuilt with `console=ttyS0 earlyprintk=serial,ttyS0,115200`appended to the kexec command line in `/scripts/casper-premount/30mini-iso-menu` and the serial output was captured.
