[Bug 2160452] [NEW] Touchpad broke after updating linux kernel to 7.0.0-27-generic

Public bug reported: Hi, After updating the linux kernel from 7.0.0-22-generic to 7.0.0-27-generic the touchpad completely stopped working. I tried restarting the drivers (i2c_hid_api driver), and rebooting my computer, without success. I booted back in ubuntu using the 7.0.0-22-generic kernel and it worked again.
