Public bug reported: NVIDIA 580.142 module load throws an "Unpatched return thunk in use" warning at boot, and every suspend/shutdown attempt produces a __jump_label_patch kernel oops. System hangs, hard reset required. Hardware: Ryzen 7 2700, RTX 2070 (Turing/TU106), MSI B450-A PRO, Secure Boot enabled. Boot-time warning (during NVIDIA module init): Unpatched return thunk in use.
