Title:
[26.04 FEAT] [VS2215] KVM: Rewrite gmap using MMU notifiers

Status in Ubuntu on IBM z Systems:
Incomplete
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete

Bug description:
Feature Description:

This is an item with the goal to improve the guest memory management
for 1M and 2G page sizes using hugetlbfs and transparent huge pages,
also in nested KVM setups while retaining backward compatibility.

This rework became a requirement for the new hardware work areas and
to ease the memory management support for 1M and 2G page sizes.
