Screen-Rotation no longer working

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Extension Screen-Rotate installed and monitor-sensor reporting
correctly rotation events but auto-rotate does not work and in the
Quick-Setting menue on the top right icons releated to rotation are
completely missing.

Auto rotation worked before upgrading to 25.10.
