Bug description:
When booting HP Pavilion dv6-6145eo with Ubuntu 15.04 the laptop
monitor turns off in the middle of the boot.


WORKAROUND: Changing in /etc/default/grub GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT from:
quiet splash

to:
quiet

WORKAROUND: If I suspend and resume the computer (close and open the
lid) when I hear the login sound the monitor turns back on and the
computers works just fine.
