I have exactly the same problem. The computer works perfectly on the power supply, but on the battery, especially when the power supply is connected, it freezes completely. It works flawlessly on Windows. Previously - 23.10 - it also worked properly

Bug description:
I have Ubuntu 24.04 installed on my laptop, when I plug in my power
cable to my laptop, the whole Ubuntu freezes and nothing is responds,
so I have to force shutdown my laptop and restart it. I want to make
notice that all other version Ubuntu 23.10, 22.04... with all
different flavors work perfect without any issue
