[Bug 2059316] Re: backport arm64 THP improvements from 6.9

This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-
nvidia-6.8/6.8.0-1008.8~22.04.1 kernel in -proposed solves the problem.
Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the
problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-jammy-linux-
nvidia-6.8' to 'verification-done-jammy-linux-nvidia-6.8'. If the
problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-needed-jammy-linux-
nvidia-6.8' to 'verification-failed-jammy-linux-nvidia-6.8'.


If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

Bug description:
Initial support for multi-size THP landed upstream in v6.8. In the 6.9
merge window, 2 other series have landed that show significant
performance improvements on arm64

On an Ampere AltraMax system w/ 4K page size, kernel builds in a tmpfs
are reduced from 6m30s to 5m17s, a ~19% improvement.
