Thanks Roy. I don't use Ubuntu full time on this, I have the release version of 26.04 installed on an external drive for now. I think this can be closed, dimming works as of 7.0.0-15-generic. (although I would be concerned Ubuntu is missing the pixel-shifting anti-burning stuff that Asus apparently has on Windows) For others, I will add that there's now two backlight devices in /sys # ls /sys/class/backlight/ amdgpu_bl2 nvidia_0 Maybe I managed to grab a daily just before support was added? -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. The brightness control for the built in display on this laptop does not work at all, booted into the Resolute daily live distro.
